30-Minute Guitar Master Class
Today I will share some tips with you, which will improve your guitar playing dramatically. I like to call this concept the 30-minute master class. If you want to learn how to play guitar then following this routine will increase your progress faster than anything else.
Your goal should be to devote a minimum of 30 minutes each day to go over these three important areas. The first 10-minutes of your practice time should be spent going over scales and finger exercises. Paying attention to the notes you are playing and memorizing the various scale patterns up and down the fret board.
The second 10-minute block you should focus on various chord shapes and patterns up and down the neck using the CAGED system. Take your time and picture the root centers of each chord shape. Some of these shapes will be almost impossible to fret cleanly at first, but don’t give up. Stick with these shapes until you can play them easily in any hand position. Some of these chord shapes are not guitar chords for beginners but don’t let that stop you.
The final 10-minutes should be spent doing ear-training exercises. Record single notes and practice identifying the various tones. Then record chord shapes and try to identify those as well. Then choose a song you would like to learn by ear. Start off by identifying the tuning they are using and then try to locate the opening notes. Once you identify a couple of notes it should be fairly easy to piece together. If you have an ipad, you can use the irig adapter and a copy of Amplitube to slow songs down so that they are easier for you to learn.
If you devote 30 minutes a day to these three areas you will see a dramatic improvement in your playing in a couple of weeks. Your largest hurdle will be trying to focus on the things you should be practicing on instead of just playing through your favorite riffs. Good luck with your practice time.

Why Do I Have to Read a Zoom R16 Review?
My manager has been bugging me to read a Zoom R16 review. He’s been persistently reminding me to read a review of the gadget before I go on vacation. You see, I will be away for four months to take a short break from my busy life as a record artist. I need to take a break and spend some time with my family, too. My oldest son is going to college, and I’m going to be checking out his apartment and his school and all other things that a father should do.
Anyway, I did what my manager told me to do, and I found out that the Zoom R16 is a portable digital multi track recorder, an audio interface, and a control surface in one. I can use 32GB SD cards to record up to 100 hours worth of tracks on it. It has built-in stereo microphones that could capture my music anywhere I want to record it. Whether I am recording a final song or I am just storing some ideas in it, the Zoom R16 recorder can do the job for me.
Now, I know why my manager wants me to read a review of the Zoom R16! He wants me to record some new songs while I am on vacation! He says my fans can’t wait too long for me.

Violin Lessons: Learning to Hold the Violin
When having violin lessons, the first thing you need to learn is how to correctly hold the violin. When doing this, comfort should come first. First, you have to position yourself in an armless chair. If you find it comfortable standing, you may do so. Second, place your violin on your shoulder, whether it be on the left or on the right (whichever is your dominant side of the body) and put your chin on the chin rest. Third, make sure that the violin neck is resting between your thumb and your first finger. Fourth, hold the bow lightly with your thumb and your fingers. Make sure that your thumb is placed at the top of the screw. You may also want to bend your fingers a little to add a good up-down bow transition.
First few attempts of holding the violin during violin lessons may be a little difficult, but once you get the hang of it, it will become easy.
I Am Really Starting to Get into House Music
I am really starting to get into house music and other types of electronic music. I really like dubstep too, I was at a dubstep concert that my friend invited me to when I first started liking electronic music.
