Five days ago, me and my friend Albert travelled back in time to 1972, and found ourselves in the middle of an entertainment arcade in the UK. I couldn’t believe my eyes, standing in front of the iconic, newly-released coin-operated arcade game, Pong. I am a big fan of arcade games, and having played the modern stick arcade games, as well as the modernised versions of Pong, I was utterly delighted to find myself standing in front of such an iconic piece of machinery. Unfortunately Albert wasn’t too impressed, as he is more into the home console games such as Gears of War and Call of Duty. He was complaining the whole time we were playing and I eventually had enough and snapped at him. We travelled back in time to an iconic part of gaming history and he was moaning about how much he missed his mother. I was astounded.
